Organizational Setup

The management of NHRDF vests in the Managing Committee which consisting of 4 representatives from NAFED, 6 representatives engaged in cultivation of onions or any other export oriented horticultural crops, 5 representative of the Associated Shippers and 4 from eminent scientists/experts in related field and the Director, NHRDF  as a Member –Secretary.

The NHRDF has an Advisory Committee which meets periodically for review of the research and developmental activities being carried out and finalizing the technical programmes. The committee is headed by Deputy Director General (Hort.), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Eminent scientists in different disciplines are its members. Under the guidance of Advisory Committee, the Foundation is marching ahead in carrying out its research and developmental programmes on various export-oriented horticultural crops. The Committee meets twice in a year to review the progress of research and developmental activities and also finalization of future programme of kharif and rabi seasons.
